Ashwagandha & Lemon Balm
Two of the most promising ingredients for cortisol and stress support is KSM-66® Ashwagandha Extract and Lemon Balm Extract.
You might find basic ashwagandha extracts in stores, but most of these are not standardized for the compounds in the plant that have beneficial properties. This version has been heavily studies in humans for numerous uses, with its most profound affects on cortisol, mood, & stress support.
Lemon Balm is another heavily researched ingredient, in humans, showing profound results in reducing stress and helping to calm and relax.
Although you may only need 300mg per day of each of these ingredients, in typical PEScience fashion we use the most commonly support serving of each: 600mg/day.
No CBD Here
We understand the industry loves CBD right now. It is trendy, and the claims manufacturers are putting out there are amazing. The unfortunate thing is most (if not all) of them are not actually supported by scientific evidence.
As we are a brand that follows the science, not the hype, you will not find any CBD here for many reasons. Just as a brief example, we could only find one (very weak) study on CBD in regards to stress, done in 2010. The amount needed was 400mg, which is about 10-50x more than typical amounts sold on the market.
On top of that in a 2016 report, less than 9% of CBD products tested actually contained what their labels stated. Just remember, do your research, and follow the actual science, not the hype.
